What should I consider when choosing a Mortgage?
Residential Property
Buying a property for the first time, moving home, raising capital, or simply wanting to remortgage to change to a better interest rate can be a minefield.
I have detailed below some information to try and take the mystery out of choosing an appropriate mortgage, but please complete the enquiry form if you would like some advice on the best deal for you.
Types of Mortgage
There are two main repayments types, interest only where you only repay interest to the lender, and at the same time maintain a savings vehicle where you can build a lump sum to repay the loan at the end of the mortgage term.
Repayment loans are where you will pay interest to the lender together with part of the capital sum, and so long as you always maintain your monthly payments to your lender, you are guaranteed to repay the loan at the end of the mortgage term.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
